The VC Playbook: What separates startups that successfully raise venture capital from those that don't? Beyond building a great business, successful fundraising requires understanding how investors think, telling a compelling story, and knowing how to navigate the fundraising process strategically. This session provides a practical, actionable playbook for raising capital, from initial investor outreach to securing a term sheet.

The session is designed for MBA students interested in entrepreneurship and venture capital, whether they're looking to raise funding for their own startup or better understand the investment process from a VC's perspective.

About the Speaker: Oliver Spalding is a venture capital investor at WFSC ($2B AUM investment platform) and a Lecturer at The Wharton School. Over the past decade, Oliver has invested in or advised more than 30 venture-backed companies and helped student founders raise capital from leading VC firms, including Bessemer Venture Partners, General Catalyst, and Thrive Capital.
