Google London - Central Saint Giles

A curated AI startup conference in London connecting 120 founders, tech leaders, investors and ecosystem decision-makers at Google London. Taking place on Thursday 3 September 2026, from 8:30am to 1:00pm, The London AI Startup Conference returns after its successful 2025 edition. Hosted by Startup Network Europe, the event combines expert discussion, focused roundtables and structured networking for a hand-picked audience selected from more than 2,000 applications. Who is it for? Attendance at Google London – Central Saint Giles is capped at 120 pre-approved participants: - 60 founders and senior leaders from UK-based, early-stage AI startups - 30 CTOs and technology leaders, including senior decision-makers in AI, ML and data - 20 venture capital investors actively investing in UK AI and deep tech - 10 ecosystem partners from accelerators, incubators, government, research, innovation and media organisations This selective format is designed for substantive conversations rather than high-volume networking. A dedicated networking app will facilitate pre-arranged meetings during the final part of the programme. Panel and roundtables The main panel, “Moats in the AI Age: Building Real IP in a World of Foundation Models,” will explore how startups can move beyond “GPT wrappers”, develop defensible architecture and create technical IP that Big Tech cannot easily replicate. It will also consider what defensibility means for long-term enterprise value. Panellists include Meryem Arik
