Founder brief
Who should attend
Early-stage founders from any sector looking to test their verbal pitch in Silicon Valley will find this useful. The setup fits builders who want direct feedback from a small local gathering and prefer conversational discussions over formal presentation stages.
What happens
Participants put on name stickers and head to the table matching what they build, remaining there for the first hour. Five founders then deliver five-minute pitches without reading slides aloud, taking immediate questions from the audience before the floor opens up.
Who's in the room
Around eleven attendees gather in the downtown Palo Alto cafe, brought together by community organizer Ascent Valley. The crowd centers on founders across diverse industries discussing topics selected through local votes.
How to prepare
Refine a crisp five-minute talk that speaks directly to listeners without relying on reading text from slides. Come ready with concise answers about your traction and problem, and prepare questions for peers working at your assigned table.
