Founder brief
Who should attend
Founders seeking to benchmark early-stage pitches or connect with active venture investors will find strong value here. Those working in artificial intelligence, deeptech, or cross-sector areas can observe how peer companies structure their narratives.
What happens
Check-in begins at 17:30, with registration cutting off promptly at 18:20 ahead of the main program starting at 18:00. Presentations run from 18:30 as all 16 cohort companies present, followed by an on-site after-party with food and mingling from 19:45.
Who's in the room
Around 500 attendees will gather in Port Melbourne, creating a crowd concentrated with venture investors, startup operators, and fellow founders. The gathering also brings together representatives connected to sponsors like Taurus Legal Management, Vanta, and Innovation Victoria.
How to prepare
Arrive before the 18:20 cut-off to clear registration smoothly and secure a seat. Since audience pitching is not an option, focus on preparing concise talking points about your own business so you can navigate post-pitch mingling effectively during the evening after-party.
