South Summit Madrid 2027: dates, location & who should attend | Approck

South Summit is an entrepreneurship and innovation event that has been held in Madrid every year since 2012. It started as an initiative of Spain Startup, and the Madrid edition is still the organisation's main event, even though the brand now also runs editions in Brazil and other countries. The three-day programme mixes stage talks, investor meetings, corporate innovation sessions and networking areas. Its centrepiece is a startup competition: companies from any sector apply, and about one hundred finalists pitch to investors and corporate partners. Recent editions took place at La Nave, a converted industrial venue in the Villaverde district of Madrid, and drew tens of thousands of visitors along with several hundred speakers and investment funds. The event leans towards Spanish-speaking and Latin American founders and investors, but it brings in international participants as well.
