Startups & Tech Events in Toronto

About

Startups & Tech Events in Toronto is an event organization focused on bringing the innovation ecosystem together. Active since 2026, the group operates across sectors without a narrow industry niche, serving both its home base in Toronto and expanding its activities to New York. Its focus centers on open networking environments for technology builders and local professionals.

What they run

The group runs informal mixers, having organized three gatherings across its calendar. While two previous mixers were hosted in Toronto, the organization is also scheduling cross-border activity. Their upcoming calendar features the Tech & Business Networking in NYC Manhattan mixer on November 4, 2026, continuing their format of standalone social events designed for conversation rather than formal programming.

Who attends

Attendees include founders, operators, and professionals working across the broader technology and business sectors. Because the organization maintains a sector-agnostic approach and focuses entirely on mixers, the crowd attracts individuals looking to expand general professional relationships. Participants show up to connect across varied business stages and disciplines rather than for specialized vertical tracks.
