Platform Calgary

About

Platform Calgary is an event organizer focused on the Calgary tech and startup ecosystem. The organization operates across all industries rather than specializing in a single vertical, serving as a sector-agnostic hub for the local entrepreneurial community. Beginning its programming in 2026, the organization helps anchor regional activities aimed at connecting local founders, professionals, and innovators.

What they run

The group organizes a mix of gatherings in Calgary, with five total gatherings including meetups, a summit, and conferences. They have held four past functions and have one upcoming conference on the schedule, Calgary Innovation Week 2026 Fact Sheet | Press & Facts, set for November 2026. Their lineup balances smaller meetup discussions with large-scale, tentpole conference programming for the city.

Who attends

The audience includes early-stage founders, startup teams, and technology operators working across diverse sectors in Calgary. Because the programming covers broad meetups, summits, and major conferences without focusing on a single niche, it gathers participants from every corner of the local economy. Those seeking peer networking, press engagement, and wider ecosystem connections regularly participate in their city-centered gatherings.
