12 Scrappy Founders

About

12 Scrappy Founders is a Bay Area community group that began hosting gatherings in 2026. The organization focuses on bringing together startup creators through informal, activity-based formats rather than traditional corporate conferences. Their activities center on peer connection, giving operators in the regional technology ecosystem a space to convene away from standard pitch events and panel discussions.

What they run

The group has hosted six gatherings across the Bay Area, split between four mixers and two meetups. Half of their calendar consists of a recurring series titled Scrappy AI Founders Play Pickleball, which has run for three editions. With six past sessions completed, the organizer currently has no upcoming dates scheduled on their immediate calendar.

Who attends

The crowd consists of early-stage artificial intelligence entrepreneurs, specifically targeting leaders scaling companies from seed through Series A. Attendees are active founders navigating early growth who turn up for athletic mixers and social meetups designed to build relationships with fellow startup operators across the local tech landscape.
