Ion

About

Ion operates out of Houston, focusing on the climate-energy sector. The organization launched its programming in 2026, centering its efforts entirely within the local Houston innovation ecosystem to support specialized industry development.

What they run

Their track record consists of six past gatherings held throughout Houston, with no upcoming events currently on the schedule. The calendar has favored smaller, interactive formats, including three meetups, a hackathon, a mixer, and a pitch night. Their offerings focus on community touchpoints and collaborative work rather than large-scale summits.

Who attends

The crowd brings together professionals, innovators, and teams working specifically within the climate and energy industries. Meetups and mixers gather peers seeking focused conversations, while technical builders come out for hands-on hackathons. Founders actively seeking exposure or early backing join the pitch night to present directly to local stakeholders.
