Startup Ascent

About

Startup Ascent is an event organizer focused on the artificial intelligence and machine learning ecosystems alongside sector-agnostic startup communities. Active since their first event in 2026, the group brings entrepreneurs together across multiple international hubs to share ideas and connect across different tech disciplines.

What they run

The organization has run seven events across Montreal, Toronto, Dubai, and Melbourne. Their schedule centers on pitch nights, which account for six of their sessions, alongside a single mixer format. Six of these gatherings were held under their recurring Startup Tech and AI Networking series. Currently, there are no upcoming events scheduled on their calendar.

Who attends

Founders building in AI, machine learning, and broader technology sectors regularly join their gatherings. Because the majority of their schedule is dedicated to pitch nights, participants typically include entrepreneurs ready to present their businesses, alongside peers and industry professionals looking to connect through focused sector networking.
