About

Brandon Fortino is an event organizer focused on bringing together startup founders and professionals in Southern California. Active since 2026, Fortino creates focused in-person gatherings in San Diego designed to cultivate relationships across the local innovation community through accessible, informal networking settings.

What they run

Fortino has organized four mixers to date, with the majority held in San Diego. His core initiative is Margaritas and Mingle Founders and Entrepreneurs Networking Event - San Diego Tech Scene, a recurring mixer series that has run three editions. There are currently no upcoming sessions on the calendar, with his track record centered entirely on past mixer formats.

Who attends

The primary audience consists of startup founders, tech entrepreneurs, and professionals active in the San Diego technology ecosystem. Attendees come specifically to build professional relationships and expand their local contacts within a casual networking environment rather than sitting through structured panels or formal pitch competitions.
