About

Startup Grind is a community organization based in Madrid that hosts sector-agnostic events for the startup ecosystem. Active since 2025, the group operates on an international footprint, connecting founders and operators across global tech hubs without focusing on any single industry vertical.

What they run

The organization has run thirty-one events to date, heavily featuring pitch nights, informal meetups, mixers, and summits. Past gatherings have taken place in hubs like the Bay Area, Shenzhen, New York, and Los Angeles, which also hosted the recurring LA Weekly Meetup at the Kinn. Upcoming programming includes mixers and pitch competitions scheduled across Toronto, Menlo Park, Johannesburg, and Austin.

Who attends

The crowd brings together early-stage founders, angel investors, and venture capitalists looking to scout deals or network. Because the sessions span pitch competitions, demo days, and open social mixers, attendees range from entrepreneurs testing their decks on stage to professionals seeking cross-industry peer discussions in an agnostic startup setting.
