Founder brief
Who should attend
Founders seeking deep insight into how early-stage investors assess deals, value companies, and build portfolios will find the sessions valuable. Anyone preparing a fundraising round can benefit from understanding angel and venture capital decision-making directly from active backers.
What happens
Starting at 10:00, practical sessions walk through analyzing and valuing startups, the angel learning curve, and the Keiretsu Forum angel network. Business angels share firsthand experiences alongside venture partners, and the day closes with lunch and networking.
Who's in the room
Speakers feature venture partners and angel investors, including Andrés Echecopar from Bcombinator, Mario Brassesco from Encomenda Capital Partners, business angels Clara Pombo and Marcos Alves, and Keiretsu Forum Spain leadership Miquel Costa and Abel Román.
How to prepare
Without pitch slots on the agenda, shift attention toward listening and relationship-building. Review how Bcombinator, Encomenda, and angel syndicates operate, then prepare specific questions about valuation metrics and investor criteria to bring to the networking lunch.
